2. Motorized Pull Testers – to find out the joining strength between the terminal and the wire, it is essential to do the pull testing of the crimp. In earlier models, pull testing was done manually but the results were not reliable and there were jerks in pulling. Therefore motorized pull testers were used and are more reliable. There are four ranges of motorized pull testers – 0 - 50kg, 0 – 100kg, 0 – 200kg, 0 – 500kg. They have calibrated sensor and there is variable speed motor with the help of which pulling is done.
